Pin-breaking Reversing Valve is the simplest and commonest type of reversing valve. Actually, it is only a special joint. There installs an O-ringed pin-breaking plug on the joint. When reversing is needed, throw an impact bar through the drill pipe of the wellhead. The two pin-breaking plugs are smashed up by the impact force of the impact bar, and make up two passages of circulating and reversing. For collecting the impact bar, there connects a joint of capture bar at the bottom of the reversing valve, it can collect the impact bar and broken pins inside and give no influence of the passing of the fluid.
